Projects: - QuickLinkDotNet:
A Microsoft .NET API wrapper (written in C#) for EyeTech's
QuickLink
API, which is used to control EyeTech's line of eye trackers.
This project is open source, and released under the conditions of
the MIT software license.
- OrbitClash: My first video game! OrbitClash is a simple arcade game based on the legendary classic "SpaceWar!"
The game requires two players sitting at the same keyboard. It is
written in C#, so you will need Microsoft's .NET framework to
play. Chances are, if you run some form of the Microsoft Windows
operating system, you already have .NET installed. This project
is open source, and released under the conditions of the GPLv3 software
license.
Papers: - Weaver, J., Mock, K., Hoanca, B. "Gaze-Based Password Authentication through Automatic Clustering of Gaze Points."
Proceedings of the 2011 IEEE International Conference on Systems, Man,
and Cybernetics. SMC2011, Oct 9-12, 2011, Anchorage, AK. Here is link to the project page.
- Weaver, J. "Iris Recognition for Continuous Biometric User Authentication." This proposal won an OURS grant in 2010 from the University of Alaska Anchorage.
The end result of my work was a functioning proof-of-concept
system, and a variety of directions for future students to explore. Here is a link to the project page.
Projects I Have Contributed To: - Daedalus
Game Manager (DGM):
A simple server/client framework for testing two-player board game
artificial intelligence algorithms. The manager (server) is
written in
C#, so you will need Microsoft .NET to run it. The framework also
comes with many tools and utilities to facilitate the creation of new
games and AI-driven clients written in C#. However, clients
can be written in almost any language (e.g., Java). This was
a
semester's group
project. This project is open source, and released under the
conditions of the BSD software license.
Family & Friends: - Clementine's Bookstore: Her website
is really just a gateway to her Amazon marketplace.
- The Artwork of Ed Weaver: Follow this link to view photographs
of his paintings. This is only a very
small sample of his total portfolio. Many of his paintings have
not been photographed. I must offer my apologies,
because some of the photos are
of less-than-ideal quality (usually the ones taken by me).
